Computer networking refers to interconnected computing devices that can exchange data and share resources with each other. Moreover these networked devices use a system of rules, called communications protocols, to transmit information over physical and wireless technologies.

Hubs cannot filter data so data packets are sent to all connected devices computer and do not have intelligence to find out best path for data packets.
